In 1975 Daniel Crapps opened a one-man office in Live Oak, Florida. Since then, Daniel Crapps Agency, Inc. has moved to Lake City, Florida and has a sales force of approximately 39 agents and six full-time employees.

The Farms and Acreage Division was formed in 1987 and consisted of Daniel Crapps, Katrina Blalock and Baynard Ward. Chuck Davis joined the organization in 1997. This division was formed for the purpose of concentrating marketing efforts on specialized types of property, primarily land sales within the greater North Florida area. In 2000 they organized a group of investors for the purpose of purchasing large timber tracts and in 2000 were successful in purchasing over 29,000 acres in North Florida. At the request of this partnership, they subdivided the property into large tracts, created a marketing plan and were successful in selling out within eighteen months. Since then, the investment group has grown - along with their horsepower to purchase. As of January 2006, the Farms and Acreage Division has been instrumental in selling over 290,000 acres with a brighter future on the horizon.

Travis Land joined Daniel Crapps Agency, Inc. in May, 2005 and Daniel Crapps Agency of Georgia, Inc. in August, 2005.

Travis, a native of the North Florida area, graduated from Florida State University in 2001 with a bachelor degree in Finance and Real Estate. Since that time, his experiences range from branch management for Wells Fargo Financial to Assistant Vice President of lending for Columbia County Bank.
